MiScreen Digital Mesh
RISO Digital QS Mesh is the new generation ('P' Type) Polyester Mesh.
The MiScreen Digital Screen Maker turns artwork into prints, whilst eliminating traditional emulsions, hand cutting stencils and the many time consuming process of traditional screen making.
Fine lines, large solids, text and greyscales are quickly transferred onto RISO thermal mesh using a professional Thermal Print Head (TPH), view the video demonstration below to see for yourself how fast and easy MiScreen is to use.
Eliminating carbon based artwork and transparencies improves quality, with no losses through a secondary transfer, no UV light undercutting, no movements, no extra time and cost saving by eliminating ink and film costs.
MiScreen is fast and easy to use, as with a click of a button artwork is sent directly to the machine. RISO mesh is pre-mounted onto the frame (using double sided tape), which is inserted into the machine and design transferred when the lid is pressed - out comes the imaged screen ready to print instantly.
MiScreen uses a professional Thermal Print Head (TPH) to provide ultra sharp imaging of lines, text and solids, opening the RISO mesh to reveal the design. Chemical free, completely dry and safe process you can perform on a bench top in class with students or at home.
Upgrading from the discontinued analogue Thermal-Copier systems brings you into the Digital age, with faster imaging, higher quality sharper prints, wider range of mesh grades and importantly lower screen costs.

Have a question? Contact Us.
MiScreen opens the doors to printing almost anything with 3 Mesh grades from coarse 70Mesh for maximum ink flow, through to ultra fine 200Mesh for non-absorbent materials such as glass/ metals/ plastics.
It's also important to match a suitable ink/paint and the correct printing technique to complete the overall suitability for the application.
RISO Digital QS Mesh is the new generation ('P' Type) Polyester Mesh.
Which Mesh is best for each application?
- 70Mesh allows very high ink flow for solid designs using thicker Supercover inks on absorbent surfaces i.e. t-shirts/ fabrics.
- 120Mesh is the sweet spot for almost all applications with sharp quality prints for lines/text/solids onto absorbent and semi-absorbent items. (replaces 70Mesh 'S' type).
- 200Mesh limits ink flow to reduce bleeding, making it suited for ultra fine designs onto glass/ metals/ plastics/ non-absorbent materials where off-contact printing is required for a controlled layer of in flow.
